Pretty Palomino Horses
I found these two photographs when I was looking through my photo cd’s. Isn’t this palomino horse just gorgeous?
His name is Chauncey and he was such a great guy. Friendly, quiet enough for me to ride alone and for my kids to ride despite his height. He was actually much nicer than the pony we had. When we ran out of time to use the horses, as the kids got older, I sold him to a great home. It’s not fair to have a horse sit outside all day getting no attention, not to mention expensive. I miss him though. And in these parts I could saddle him up and ride right down the driveway and disappear into the forest.
We have to finish opening the cabin. A water line burst, the dock has to go in and we have to launch the boat. We are also trying to reconcile the fact that we have to buy a new car soon but we need the room in a car to get to and from the cabin with the dog. It’s not like we have golf bags or anything that large, especially since we leave plenty of things at the cabin, but we do bring some clothing and have to stop on the way to get groceries. It gets very crowded even with the pod atop the roof. All the economical cars are a little too small so we have a quandary. Any suggestions? We like the Pontiac Vibe but it’s a little too small.

i really love horses and help out at the stables where i ride. there i ride this gorgeous golden palomino named Ben. he is huge and just loves being riden. hes very quiet and has a great personality when you ride him. bens very gentle and looking at your pictures of chauncy made me think of how much i love ben so thanks so much!!!!!
