Sun in the Valley
I snapped this picture the other day. I thought the way the sun was only illuminating the hill was pretty neat. Because New York is so very pretty in many areas it’s a delightful place to golf. My husband and I have golf clubs but haven’t been out in ages. I think once the kids go to college we will take it up again.

That is a very nice shot. I love the way that hill in the background has the sun on it. and it constrasts well with the shadow area that you took the photo from.

I love being on a golf course- always pretty and serene. However, I am not a very good golfer…..so I’m only good for a game of scramble (I think it’s called scramble- play the best ball)

Honestly, it’s strange having such a narrow focus in the very centre of a photo.

The picture actually makes you want to get out on that golf course and play a round or two. I have tried to play… when I say tried.. I mean… I did try.. I just wasn´t at all successful. I hit the side wall of the driving range a few times… just about knocked out a small child with my club and hit about 2 balls out of the 100 in my bucket! A very successful day!!! At least when the sun is shining it makes you feel a bit better about bad you are playing!
I hope you do take it up… when the kids are gone for sure!

This is the scene which I able to see seldom. I am not there but have seen the similar scene elsewhere. All those nature beauties are unforgettable.

One reason why simply hanging around a golf course is relaxing is because of the green and fresh ambiance in this place. I seldom play golf but I frequently visit golf course when I want to unwind and enjoy the afternoon over a cup of coffee.
Great photo! As for golf, I can’t ever play an entire course. I always get too frustrated. Maybe I should get lessons haha

The picture made me think of playing golf again next year. I haven’t played golf for months since we move because we have been busy decorating and fixing some more things here at our new place. I missed the nice and relaxing view of country clubs.
It is difficult to find such scenes. Perhaps living in Newyork means a shortage of time and loads of work. I’ll love to visit such place once in my life.
The way the sunlight falls on the hill is just amaging to watch. It gives really a peaceful and cool environment.
