Pharsalia Wildlife Management Area

This is a huge area in Chenango County a few miles away from my place that is home to many species of bird, fish, fowl and mammal. Here are a few pics I snapped today. It was 33 degrees, sunny with a small breeze, brisk and crisp. I heard a few chickadees but other than that it was pretty quiet.

It looks like a nice quiet area. I like that the warmer weather is coming here soon.
i like this site..great performance ! thanks…
The scenery is quiet but refreshing. I’m living in a heavily-congested area. There are always people around. Pollutants are everywhere. Looking at your wilderness pictures recharges me. Makes me think that there are still places on earth that are unmarred by progress. Thanks for sharing.

It’s good this place is just in New York so when one gets too stressed with the busy and hectic life in the city, he can always come to this place and have some breather.

This is a very nice place and the photos are very clear.
Great to get out of the city and enjoy nature.
I am a little jealously, because I do not live in the area. I am a big fan of animals and I am always ready for a great sacrifice and great risks for the animals. They are definitely my life. I have about two hundred animals in my yard.
the pictures are so refreshing and inviting..
