What Happened to Spring?
It looks like sprng passed us by and summer suddenly showed up! But I am not complaining after the horrible winter we just had. I’ve been busy planting and hiking and the photo above shows the same trail as in the previous post, but on a much warmer day a few weeks ago. After severla 80 degree days and a 90 degree day we are back at 32 degrees this morning. But this is typical of Upstate NY weather. They say if you don’t like the weather, just wait a few minutes! All kinds of birds have been showing up. Tree swallows, a few warblers whose tunes I recognize (chestnut sided and black throated green warblers) and a few ducks have been hanging out on our pond. I’ve seen a pair of merganzers and a pair of mallards. A few herons have flown by and of course there are the obligatory geese that I am not thrilled to have pooping on our lawn, however they leave after they are finsihed nesting.
And of course what’s spring here on our litle farm without spring lambs. Just look at this cutie who promises to have a gorgeous fleece for spinning! 
The weather is really crazy, as I almost melted down in the past few days, when the temperature suddenly increased up to 80 degrees!
That is wonderful weather and pictures are amazing. I love to have that lamb though for my son as he is insisting to have one. Anyways, thanks to catch up and to share those pictures.
Our environment is really starting to feel the effects of our abuse. Our weather and climate is on chaos..it should be spring but it feels like summer..also same thing here in the Philippines, this time, it is summer here but there are typhoon wrecking havoc in our country.
Well, it took a bit, but now the temperature has cooled down and it feels like spring. I’m not sure what that heatwave was all about.
Joy, You are very right and I think we are abusing anything (weather the most) with speed of light. Our next few years are going to decide everything for us and for our next generations.

Time is strange, because changes in one day four seasons, but this is not a problem for people who are in the business. I enjoy this beautiful sunny day and reading your posts.

Unfortunately things will get even worse; if climate changes, everything else changes: food, animals, water level…etc. I am really sorry that we do not care enough and we let this happen. I really miss the winters full of snows, the spring with fresh fruits - which had a taste and summers with normal temperatures.

Spring….I really love this season, but now a days i am suffering a lot with summer in my city.

Winter is already setting in here and your pictures make me think of spring.
As we can see the effects of climate change and the global warming slowly makes our environment really way different from before. Before even after a winter the weather is tolerable, but this years weather are worst, I haven’t enjoy the spring because of the hot weather. seems that summer was too early. I hope these article of your can be a start of an eye opening for us to do something about our world. Because if we don’t we will suffer much worst than this.

The picture of the trail looks like a great place to get some exericse and experience nature at the same time. I bet it is beautiful this time of year during the fall when the leaves are changing and falling.

They added a wind farm about 5 miles from my home but now that the leaves are gone again i can see them… it is actually really cool. Great pics by the way

I miss spring already…
I like spring very much atmosphere is too pleasant. But now it is so hot green leaves has disappeared this is all because of global warming we only need car nice bike etc. and then we ask where is spring
Yup I like to ask this question to the world. It is truly said that – somewhere or the other aren’t we responsible for spring to disappear. Grass has turn to hay, green trees turned bound the spring timing shift it is all because of globe worming
I feel not only globe worming is responsible for loss of our spring. We cut forest, we burn fuel etc. all leads to environmental problems. entire forest is brown is the image and lamb must be filling so hot

Summer has already been too hot already! I’m ready or fall if its going to be like for the next 3 months.
It’s really weird thing about spring this year. Here in Michigan we barely had any rain and it was hot and muggy. Now that summer has gotten here its been much more mild and raining constantly. It seems like the seasons forgot which order they are supposed to go in.
People probably think global warming is to blame for the warmer weather coming sooner in the year every year. It’s an interesting debate to say the least.
